Now, you can be that relatable role model. And all you need is you. Your story—your experiences and memories—has the power to inspire. It is enough and it matters.

Join the PLUS ME Project’s Motivational March campaign during the week of March 24-28 as one of 100 volunteers to motivate high school students in an East/South/Southeast LA classroom by sharing your story on a panel and raising $100 to support our mission.

 
 
 

If you commit to this opportunity…

  • You will build confidence in students (and yourself).

  • You will demonstrate the courage needed to share your story and inspire youth to do the same.

  • You will connect with other PLUS ME volunteers, hear their stories, and find community.

  • You will walk away from this experience knowing you made a difference.

How to volunteer:

 

1. Register and Onboard
Sign up and schedule a one-hour virtual onboarding session where you will learn how to craft your personal story and kickstart your fundraising journey.

2. Build and Share
Write your story, attend coaching sessions to refine it, practice sharing it, and rally support from your network to reach your fundraising goal.

3. Motivate and Celebrate
Tell your story as part of a panel in a high school classroom during the week of March 24-28. Then, celebrate your impact with fellow volunteers at PLUS ME’s Motivational March Mixer on the evening of Friday, March 28.
