Wisdom Week 2024 Wraps

Special thank you to everyone who supported PLUS ME for our annual Wisdom Week campaign. We served over 500 students from 20 different classrooms at Animo Compton Charter School and Santee Education Complex last week with stories of wisdom from volunteers across the city.

In addition to sharing their stories, volunteers were encouraged to participate in peer-to-peer fundraising to support PLUS ME in offering this free program to the community each year. Through their support, we raised over 77% of our goal thanks to the generosity from 103 donors!

At our celebration on Friday, 4 of the top 10 fundraisers received their custom PLUS ME mug in-person as a small token of appreciation for their exceptional fundraising efforts. We would like to send our gratitude to everyone who shared their stories in classrooms, all the partnering educators, and everyone who contributed to Wisdom Week this year.
