Serve 100 Schools

Over the past nine years, PLUS ME has served over 400 schools in the Southern California area with our many programming and workshop opportunities. This year, we will serve another 100 schools so we enter our 10th anniversary year by hitting the 500 school milestone!

Why It Matters

PLUS ME has no office space. This is because our work is conducted in the schools we serve. Every week, PLUS ME brings our team of facilitators directly into classrooms throughout the school day to conduct our guest speaker presentations and story-based workshops.

Our curriculum is designed to support schools with building storytelling cultures on their campuses that ensure students, educators, and parents realize their stories matter. By partnering with PLUS ME, schools gain access to our team of storytellers that help build connections and confidence within their community.


How We Will Achieve It

Maintaining existing relationships and growing new ones with schools ensures PLUS ME is able to consistently offer our services to middle and high school students.

Through our partnerships with school districts and relationships with individual administrators, PLUS ME has already secured contracts with over 40 schools this year. Our goal is to continue to increase our outreach that will result in new partnerships that are formed at new schools in Southern California.

We also receive generous grants from Foundations and Council Members that allow us to bring story-based workshops to new schools. Lastly, our new FREE Story Sparks Series is a flexible online tool that will help introduce our programming to schools across the country.

Where We Are So Far

Nearly three months into the school year we have already served over 25 schools and are well on the way to reach the 100 goal by July 2023.
