Award 10 Scholarships

Since 2020, PLUS ME has offered the My Story Matters Scholarship to high school students in Southern California. To help celebrate our upcoming 10th anniversary, we have doubled the scholarship opportunities: My Story Matters LISTEN Scholarship (Winter) & My Story Matters IMPACT Scholarship (Summer).

Why It Matters

Commitment to college and career is a core objective for students who experience our story-based workshops. PLUS ME believes it is important to support youth in pursuing their future college and career goals. This is why our organization has committed to awarding youth through our financial scholarship program and has increased the amount we distribute each year since its inception.


How We Will Achieve It

This year, PLUS ME will once again award our My Story Matters LISTEN Scholarship to recipients who will share their life story in the form of an essay and be read aloud at our annual LISTEN event in February 2023.

We also have introduced a NEW scholarship for our Road To A Million journey called My Story Matters IMPACT Scholarship. These scholars will submit an essay showing how they are using their life story to positively impact their communities now or in the future. IMPACT scholarship recipients will be awarded at our 10 Year Celebration in July 2023.
